<strong>(M.U.R.)<\/strong><br \/>op\u00e9rationnelles form\u00e9es avant le d\u00e9barquement alli\u00e9 du <em>6 juin 1944<\/em> \u00e9taient issues du <strong>\u00ab\u00a0Service maquis \u00ab\u00a0<\/strong>, <em>cr\u00e9\u00e9 en avril 1943<\/em> en compl\u00e9ment de l\u2019<strong>Arm\u00e9e Secr\u00e8te (A.S.)<\/strong>, devenues, en <em>mars 1944,<\/em> les <strong>Corps Francs de la <\/strong><strong>Lib\u00e9ration (C.F.L.)<\/strong>.<\/p><p>D\u00e9velopp\u00e9e dans la clandestinit\u00e9, la <strong>R\u00e9sistance<\/strong> \u00e9tait alors, pour les occupants allemands et le gouvernement de Vichy, un regroupement de terroristes. Tandis que les R\u00e9sistants se d\u00e9finissaient comme des soldats de la Libert\u00e9 luttant pour retrouver les valeurs de la R\u00e9publique et de la des hommes vont pouvoir affirmer leurs convictions, lib\u00e9rer leurs \u00e9nergies, s\u2019affirmer dans l\u2019organisation de la lutte, tel <strong>Roger Biton<\/strong>, <strong>enfant du pays<\/strong>, combattant de 39-40.<\/p><p>C\u2019est dans les tout premiers jours d\u2019avril (1944) que sont rassembl\u00e9s <a href=\"https:\/\/mairiedebonnat.portesdelacreuseenmarche.fr\/mairiedebonnat-2023\/le-village-du-rateau\/\"><strong>au R\u00e2teau<\/strong><\/a> les diff\u00e9rents groupes qui vont constituer la <strong>2\u00e8me Cie Franche des Corps Francs de la Lib\u00e9ration<\/strong>, une unit\u00e9 d\u00e9sormais arm\u00e9e, structur\u00e9e, dot\u00e9e d\u2019un encadrement qui lui permet d\u2019accueillir et former de nouveaux volontaires.<br \/>D\u00e9but juin ses effectifs atteignent 80, dont 3 officiers et 8 sous-officiers. Les camions \u00e0 gazog\u00e8ne sont d\u00e9faillants dans la c\u00f4te de <strong>Gl\u00e9nic<\/strong> mais la petite troupe parvient cependant \u00e0 gagner les emplacements qui lui sont affect\u00e9s.<br \/><strong>Roger Biton<\/strong> et les siens prennent position sur la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Y5ai9g_Vzig\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>place Bonnyaud<\/strong><em> (voir la vid\u00e9o des Archives d\u00e9partementales de la Creuse)<\/em><\/a>, contre l\u2019h\u00f4tel Saint Fran\u00e7ois qui abrite la Kommandantur.
