\u00e9glise Sainte Val\u00e9rie du 12\u00e8me si\u00e8cle, class\u00e9e au titre des monuments historiques en 1912. Mais aussi, le village du Soudrin sur la commune de Linard, ainsi qu\u2019au loin les 9 \u00e9oliennes \u00e9rig\u00e9es sur les communes de Saint-Marien et Bussi\u00e8re-Saint-Georges. <br \/>On R\u00e2teau a jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le important pendant la r\u00e9sistance.<\/p><p>Son ch\u00e2teau (propri\u00e9t\u00e9 priv\u00e9e) \u00e9tait alors le lieu de rassemblement et de formation de diff\u00e9rents groupes constituant, avec son chef le capitaine <a href=\"https:\/\/mairiedebonnat.portesdelacreuseenmarche.fr\/mairiedebonnat-2023\/roger-biton-enfant-du-pays\/\"><strong>Roger BITON<\/strong><\/a> (un enfant du pays), la 2\u00e8me Compagnie Franche des Corps Francs de la Lib\u00e9ration.<\/p><p>Cette compagnie, avec l\u2019aide de l\u2019arm\u00e9e secr\u00e8te constitu\u00e9e par son chef de secteur <a href=\"https:\/\/mairiedebonnat.portesdelacreuseenmarche.fr\/mairiedebonnat-2023\/charles-chareille-le-tonton-des-moulins\/\"><strong>Charles CHAREILLE<\/strong><\/a>, a obtenu la reddition de la kommandantur qui occupait alors l\u2019H\u00f4tel Saint Fran\u00e7ois \u00e0 Gu\u00e9ret.<\/p><p>Le <em>samedi 13 octobre 2001<\/em>, une <strong>plaque en souvenir de la 2\u00e8me Compagnie Franche et son chef Roger BITON<\/strong> a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9voil\u00e9e sur le mur de la grange du ch\u00e2teau.<br \/>Elle est visible de la
